Tikus' wild celebration goes viral

After the final whistle was blown, Tikus put his Inter jersey on the Milan corner flag. He then raised and waved the flag as he celebrated winning his first league championship in Italy.

Thuram won't mind the backlash as he finally accomplished his dream of being a league champion.

He played a huge part as well in Inter regaining the Serie A title, scoring 12 goals and dishing out seven assists in the league this season, per the BBC.

Thuram scores in derby win

One of his goals came in Monday's victory, a spectacular solo effort that sealed not only the win but also the championship for Inter.

He latched onto a long ball down the left flank and was given time to operate by a Milan defender. Thuram made him pay, cutting in before smashing a shot from outside the box into the bottom corner to score Inter's second goal.

Fikayo Tomori pulled a goal back for Milan in the 80th minute, setting up a tense finish.

Tempers flared in the closing minutes of the match, with the referee issuing three red cards.

Milan duo Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria were both sent off, while Inter's Denzel Dumfries was also given his marching orders in second-half injury time.

Inter Milan's key players

Sports Brief recently reported on the key players from Inter's Serie A triumph.

Lautaro Martinez played a huge part in their title win, scoring a league-best 23 goals this campaign.

He stepped up big time after Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku left the club before the start of the 2023-24 season.
