Jude Bellingham has matched a record previously set by Cristiano Ronaldo as his remarkable run with Real Madrid persists.

The England international played a crucial role in Los Blancos' advancement to the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday, securing victory over Manchester City in a dramatic penalty shootout at the Etihad Stadium.

The focus shifted to the highly anticipated El Clasico showdown with Barcelona at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, where once again, Bellingham proved instrumental in a thrilling match.

Barcelona opened the scoring thanks to Andreas Christensen after just six minutes into the game, but Vinicius Jr equalised with a controversial penalty decision.

Fermin Lopez then put the Catalan giants back in the lead, celebrating in front of the Madridistas, before Lucas Vazquez leveled the score again minutes later.

In the final moments, Bellingham delivered an emphatic left-footed finish to secure the win and edge closer to the La Liga title.

It win extends Real's lead to 11 points with just six games remaining in La Liga, Eurosport reports.

Bellingham equals Ronaldo's feat

The goal marked the 20-year-old's 21st goal of the season, building on his previous heroics in the reverse fixture.

Back in October at the Estadi Olimpic, Real Madrid staged a comeback against Barca, with Bellingham scoring a brace, including the 92nd-minute winner.

By securing two last-minute victories, Bellingham has now matched the achievement of five-time Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo.

The Al-Nassr captain is highly regarded as the most clutch player in world football.

Before Bellingham's goal on Sunday, Ronaldo is the last Real Madrid player to score against Barcelona in both home and away fixtures, per Sportsbible.

The 39-year-old achieved this feat during the 2014/15 season, scoring in a 3-1 victory and also finding the net in a 2-1 loss at the Nou Camp.

Bellingham, Vazquez treat fans to lively dance

Sports Brief also reported that Jude Bellingham ignited the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu with his winning goal in Real Madrid's 3-2 triumph over Barcelona.

In a moment of joyous celebration, Bellingham and Lucas Vazquez treated fans to a lively dance at the corner flag.

After Bellingham's strike, he and Vazquez locked arms and twirled in circles near the corner, delighting teammates and supporters alike with their spirited display.
