Ghanaian youngster, Ernest Nuamah, registered his third goal in Ligue 1 after netting a beauty in the game between Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain.

The 20-year-old reduced the deficit for Lyon just before half-time as the visitors succumbed to a heavy defeat at the Parc des Princes.

Numah is having a rollercoaster season after joining the French giants last summer from Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland.

In a video shared on social media, the Right to Dream Academy graduate took on his marker from the left before creating space to shoot from outside the box, beating Gianluigi Donnarumma in PSG's post.

Having given Lyon hope before by reducing the deficit in the 37th minute, the former French champions conceded again before half-time.

PSG raced into an early lead after former Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic scored an own goal in the third minute.

Lucas Beraldo doubled the advantage three minutes later before Goncalo Ramos' brace were sandwiched by Nuamah's strike.

The Ghana international has netted three goals and provided two assists in Ligue 1 this season, per Transfermarkt.

PSG thump Lyon in Ligue 1

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that PSG closed in on another title after crushing Lyon 4-1 on Sunday.

All the goals came in the first half at the Parc des Princes, with a Nemanja Matic own goal and a Lucas Beraldo effort having PSG two ahead inside six minutes.

Goncalo Ramos then scored twice on either side of a Nuamah strike as the Parisians cruised to victory despite the rested Kylian Mbappe spending the whole evening on the bench.

Nuamah makes 2023 Golden Boy list

Sports Brief also reported that Ghanaian youngster Nuamah was nominated for the Golden Boy award.

The award, which was ultimately won by Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham, saw the Ghanaian compete with some of the best young players in the world, including Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich.

Nuamah earned a move to France last summer after an outstanding campaign with FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark.
