The sporting director at Kaizer Chiefs, Kaizer Motaung Jnr, has expressed disappointment following another trophyless season.
Amakhosi last won the league title during the 2014/2015 season but they have not lifted any major titles since then.
Chiefs continue to struggle in the DStv Premiership as well as they currently occupy eighth position on the log.
The Naturena side are 23 points behind league leaders, Mamelodi Sundowns, who have also played two games fewer than the Soweto giants.

Amakhosi failed to win any of their last four matches, losing three and drawing one. Their most recent win was on March 5 when they defeated Golden Arrows 1-0 at the FNB Stadium.
However, Motaung Jnr has stated that plans are underway to change the club's fortunes following another disappointing season.
The club could witness a new era on the managerial front, amid reports that seven appointments are to be made for the coming season.
A new coach is expected to be named, while Cavin Johnson is poised to return to his role as Head of Youth to make way for a new permanent coach.
Addressing the situation, Motaung told GOAL via IOL:
"Our job is to win matches and put smiles on people’s faces and to achieve success. Nobody is happy. We’re working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure we can elevate the football club."

FootballHe also touched on the responsibility of the club to their fans to turn things around.
"We are very much aware of what is happening at this moment in time and what we need to do. We need to take this club to where it belongs and we know what direction to go."
Manqoba Mngqithi linked with Kaizer Chiefs
Sports Brief earlier reported that Manqoba Mngqithi is linked with Kaizer Chiefs as the Glamour Boys look to appoint a permanent coach for the 2024/25 season.
The latest, and probably one of the more surprising names on the list of people who could be handed the reins of the struggling PSL giants in future, is Mngqithi.
The Mamelodi Sundowns senior coach was previously linked with a move to the Amakhosi before the Brazilians extended his current deal for another year.
