It’s hard to keep IShowSpeed out of the headlines, no matter where he is.

The American Youtuber, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr, is known for being a little bit extra, but his exuberance doesn't resonate with everyone.

Speed learned that lesson when he visited the Etihad Stadium and found himself in trouble with Manchester City fans.

The streamer, who is a huge Cristiano Ronaldo superfan, attended City’s UEFA Champions League game against Real Madrid and managed to anger the supporters.

Speed got on the wrong side of the City fans as he celebrated Rodrygo’s goal against the defending champions. The Brazilian opened the scoring in the 12th minute, the Evening Standard reported, to give the Spanish side a 4-3 advantage at that stage.

Speed was hosting a live stream for his fans when the goal went in and broke out in celebration, much to the displeasure of the English fans seated around him.

It didn’t take long for City’s fans to reprimand the American, first telling him that he shouldn’t be cheering for the La Liga giants.

When Speed switched up his support for the home side and started screaming for City, another fan ordered him to end the stream. A hesitant Speed then cut his broadcast short, but that wasn't the last of his antics.

He changed his tune after the game, as footage showed the popular streamer crying when City lost on penalties to the Spanish side. Carlo Ancelotti's men won the game 4-3 on penalties after the tie ended 4-4 on aggregate.

Madrid will now face Bayern Munich in the semi-finals, while Borussia Dortmund will take on Paris Saint-Germain in the other semi-final fixture.

Speed buys CR7-themed Lambo

Famous streamer IShowSpeed has taken his love for Cristiano Ronaldo to a new level.

Sports Brief reported that the YouTuber bought himself a new CR-7-themed Lamborghini.

The supercar is in the Portuguese kit colours and features a picture of Ronaldo on the bonnet.
