Harry Kane gave an interesting response about the German Bundesliga after Bayern Munich lost out to Bayer Leverkusen in their title defence.
For the first time in more than a decade, the Bundesliga had a winner that was not the Bavarians, and the new champion happened to come in the same season Kane joined the German top flight.
Xabi Alonso’s emphatic triumph has left Kane in search of a maiden career trophy, with his only chance of silverware this season being the UEFA Champions League.

Kane, who was on target against his familiar foes six days ago, spoke to the media ahead of the second leg and the unavoidable topic of the title loss to Leverkusen came up.
"It was a disappointing season for us in the league. Congratulations to Leverkusen for what they've achieved. We haven't reached our top level this season," he said, as quoted on talkSPORT.
"I want to help the team, whether in the Champions League or the league. It's no secret that this club is set out to win the Champions League every season," he added about the club's ambitions.
Kane also spoke about Wednesday's game against Arsenal, revealing his intentions to 'score more goals and help the team' in their quest for a semi-final place.

The England striker was then asked about how the German Bundesliga compared to the Premier League.
Without directly stating which league was better, Kane admitted the German top flight had some very strong teams, with Leverkusen a classic example.
"The Bundesliga has been a great experience for me. Leverkusen had a fantastic season, also in Europe. There are very strong clubs here."
In terms of individual stats, Kane has been in his scintillating best this season.
He has been Bayern’s shining light this season, netting an impressive 39 goals in 39 games across all competitions, according to Transfermarkt.
The 30-year-old is intent on ending the season strong as he revealed his focus has shifted to helping the Bavarians consolidate their second place on the log.
