Super Eagles legend, Sunday Oliseh, has congratulated Victor Boniface after Bayer 04 Leverkusen claimed their first-ever Bundesliga title on Sunday evening (April 14).
The Nigerian striker was one of the best players in Xabi Alonso's squad this season and scored a goals in Leverkusen's 5-0 win over Werder Bremen at the BayArena.
Boniface missed some of Leverkusen's games earlier in the season due to an injury but remained an essential figure for the team in their journey to the German title.
After the match ended, Oliseh took to his official handle on X (formerly Twitter) to hail Boniface and comment on a remarkable outing in the German league this season.

"Victor Boniface was once again extraordinary as Leverkusen grabbed its first-ever Bundesliga title with five games left to play," he said.
The former Super Eagles coach also listed some important qualities of the former Bodo/Glimt striker and made a bold statement about the Nigerian international's future.
"Boniface is strong, skilful, intelligent, mobile, and calm under pressure, and I am convinced he will lead Nigeria to AFCON glory and more soon. Congrats," he added.
Boniface, along with Nathan Tella, equalled Oliseh and Pascal Ojigwe's record as the only Nigerians to win the German Bundesliga title in history, according to a report by Soccernet.
The Super Eagles duo still have more to achieve this season, as Leverkusen are through to the DFB-Pokal final and also advanced to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League.
