FootballErik ten Hag Storms Out of Press Conference After Question on Man United’s Worst Season
- Erik ten Hag declined to take a question on Manchester United's poor season
- The Red Devils could record their worst-ever finish in Premier League history
- United have won only once in the last seven league games, sinking to seventh
Erik ten Hag walked out of a press conference after he was quizzed about the possibility of Manchester United having their worst-ever finish in the Premier League.
The Dutch tactician had just watched his side drop points in the top flight again after Bournemouth held them to a two-all draw at the Vitality Stadium on April 13.
The Cherries were arguably the better side, but Manchester United rallied back twice through Bruno Fernandes to steal a point.
However, the result still saw them drop to seventh place after Newcastle United's earlier 4-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur saw Eddie Howe's men take sixth place.

Should the Red Devils drop further, they will record their worst-ever placing in a Premier League campaign.
Ten Hag walks out of press conference
Ten Hag wasn't thrilled with the question on that possibility from a member of the press and chose to end his post-match remarks early.
"I don't comment, I don't take that question. That is not important for this moment."
Manchester United's worst finish in Premier League
Their worst Premier League finish remains the 2013/2024 season after Sir Alex Ferguson had just left. The crisis-riddled campaign saw them finish seventh.
Pressure is quickly mounting on the former Ajax manager to produce results, especially with new owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, reportedly considering changes at the top.
Champions League football looks unattainable at this point, with 10 points separating them from fourth place.
However, they could still win silverware this season if they beat Coventry in the FA Cup semi-final and the winner of the game between Chelsea and Manchester City in the final.

FootballGarnacho appears to slam ten Hag
Sports Brief has also reported that Alejandro Garnacho appeared to criticise ten Hag after the Bournemouth game.
The Argentine winger was taken off at half-time with ten Hag insisting that he felt the need to change the right wing.
Garnacho later took to social media, liking a series of tweets that admonished the manager for treating him poorly.
