AC Milan's legendary manager, Arrigo Sacchi, has commented on Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze's recent form with the Rossoneri after a poor start to the season.

The Nigerian international joined the Italian giants from Villarreal last summer but failed to hit the ground running from the start of the season.

The former Villarreal star could not break into Stefano Pioli's starting lineup, with the Italian coach preferring former Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic to the Nigerian.

The Super Eagles star has started to gain the trust of the Milan boss. He has made the starting lineup in the last two games and registered one goal and one assist.

Chukwueze's form has also been reflected in Milan's recent performance, as they have won their last seven matches in all competitions.

According to Pianeta Milan, as per Soccernet, Sacchi shared his thoughts on Milan's recent performance in a recent interview and mentioned Chukwueze as one of the players responsible for the good run.

"First of all, they (AC Milan) run. And then it seems to me that players who had remained in the shadows emerged," he said.

"I'm thinking for example, of Samuel Chukwueze, who is demonstrating that he has good technical and athletic qualities."

The Nigerian forward will hope to continue his recent good form as Milan enters the difficult part of the season in both the Serie A and the Europa League.
