Following their hard-fought Serie A victory against Fiorentina, a report from media outlet, Football Italia, has indicated that Juventus have their sights set on acquiring the services of two Nigerian forwards.

Juventus eyeing two Nigerian strikers?

According to the report, the Turin club are looking to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface, and Bologna star, Joshua Zirkzee.

The report states that the signing of the Nigerian duo would compensate for the potential departures of Arkadiusz Milik and English attacker, Samuel Illing-Junior.

The signing of the duo is also expected to put Juventus in a better position to negotiate a potential sale for highly coveted forward, Dusan Vlahovic, as the Serbian international appears highly likely to depart the Allianz Stadium in the summer window.

The signing of Boniface is expected to cover for the departure of any of the attackers, while that of Zirkzee, who remains eligible to play for the Nigerian national team after failing to feature for the Netherlands in the last international window, appears to be linked with the rumoured agreement between Juventus and current Bologna manager, Thiago Motta, to take over as coach of the club from next season.

According to data courtesy of FotMob, both Nigerian forwards have been involved in over 40 goals since the start of the season. However, while Juventus appears keen on signing the highly talented duo, it remains to be seen if their current clubs would fancy parting ways with either of them.

Napoli rejects offer for Osimhen

In another report, Sports Brief stated that the Italian club, Napoli, have rejected Chelsea's offer for Victor Osimhen.

The report mentioned that the Premier League side offered a player-plus-cash deal for the Nigerian striker.

Osimhen continues to attract interest from a host of top clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal.
