Former Mali forward, Frederic Kanoute, believes Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has the potential of winning the Africa Player of the Year.
The 23-year-old has taken the English Premier League by storm in just his first season, starring for West Ham United in the ongoing campaign.
Kudus has already netted 13 goals across all competitions, with seven in the Premier League as West Ham continue their pursuit of an European place finish.
Kanoute, the 2007 African Player of the Year, has been impressed with the performances of the West Ham star, insisting he has what it takes to be on top.

"He is really really talented. He has everything, he has strength, running forwards, he can play different positions. Still quite young and I think he is one of the most exciting African players around these days. So yes, he definitely has a chance for me," said Kanoute on the Irons Podcast, as spotted on social media.
The Sevilla striker spent three seasons at West Ham United, scoring 27 goals in 76 appearances before signing for Tottenham Hotspurs in 2003.
Meanwhile, Kudus joined the London club last summer after a trophy-laden spell with Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam, as reported by West Ham.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus won the Goal of the Month award for the third time at West Ham United.

Kudus, again, was in superb form for the Hammers, scoring and providing an assist in the 4-3 defeat to the Magpies.
