Chelsea potential pursuit of Victor Osimhen could be in jeopardy as Paris Saint-Germain seems to have overtaken the Blues in the race to sign the Napoli forward in the summer.

The 25-year-old forward has been the Blues number one transfer target as owner Todd Boehly looks determined to sign a marquee striker to his squad ahead of the 2024/25 season.

According to Sports Mole, PSG are edging closer to the Osimhen's significant release clause, making them the current favourites to price him away from the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

The Nigerian forward signed a new contract with Napoli in December to extend his deal until the summer of 2026, and has a €130m release clause inserted in his new deal.
