- The Slovenia hotel will auction off the bed he slept on for charity
The hotel bed where Cristiano Ronaldo slept during Portugal’s trip to Slovenia will be auctioned, starting the bidding at €5,000.
The 39-year-old was among the Portuguese team that lodged at the Grand Plaza Hotel during their trip to Ljubljana.
Although the five-time Ballon d'Or winner likely enjoyed a comfortable night's rest in luxurious accommodations, his spirits were dampened by a surprising 2-0 loss at Stozice.
Despite throngs of local supporters flocking to Brno airport and the hotel where Portugal lodged, catching a glimpse of Ronaldo off the field proved challenging, as the legendary player remained out of the public eye.
