  • Man United will host rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford in their next EPL clash
  • The Reds will be taking the trip with the hope of securing a positive result
  • Jurgen Klopp's charges are leading the hunt for the Premier League title

The tense match between Manchester United and Liverpool has been moved to an unusual time.

United are set to host Jurgen Klopp's men at Old Trafford on Sunday, April 7, in a season-defining Premier League cracker.

The match comes at a time when the two teams are worlds apart in terms of form, with Liverpool currently the favourites to win the league title this season.

The Reds, who are sitting top of the table, have a two-point advantage over rivals Arsenal following an impressive run of form.

United, meanwhile, have not been in good shape as they have only won three games and lost two in their recent games in all competitions.

The Red Devils' most recent outing ended in a 4-3 disappointing defeat against rivals Chelsea, with the result dealing them a blow in their hope of sealing a top-four spot.

Man United vs Liverpool kick-off time changed

It has now emerged that the kick-off time of their league clash against Liverpool has been changed.

Considering the weight of the game, though not confirmed, GiveMeSport reports that there was a request from the police to reschedule the time for the clash so that they could do their work in a safer manner during the day rather than a night fixture.

The publication adds that this is not the only fixture that has been affected by timings, with the Chelsea and Tottenham game also being affected.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will be hoping to secure a positive result at Old Trafford to keep their Premier League table lead.

On their part, United are fighting to secure a top-four place, which will guarantee them a place in the Champions League.

Players who have played for both Liverpool and United

Earlier, Sports Brief analysed 12 players who have played for both Manchester United and Liverpool.

The two English clubs hardly transfer players directly.
