  • Gabriel Jesus has made a bold Premier League title prediction
  • Arsenal, Liverpool, and Man City are all angling for the crown
  • Only three points separate Liverpool at the top and City in third

Arsenal striker, Gabriel Jesus, has sent Liverpool a fiery Premier League title warning as the season enters its penultimate stages.

The Gunners are among the title favourites this term, alongside the Reds and defending champions, Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta's side dropped to second in the standings on Sunday, with Liverpool leapfrogging them after defeating Brighton and Hove Albion.

The North Londoners lost the top spot in the EPL table after their drab goalless draw against City over the weekend at the Etihad Stadium.

Arsenal, who last won the domestic crown almost two decades ago, are now trailing Liverpool by two points, while City, who sit third, are three points off the top spot.

Jesus fires title warning to Arsenal

Speaking via Metro UK, Jesus believes that Arsenal still stand a chance to win the league title this season even after managing a 0-0 draw against City.

According to the Brazilian forward, there is no cutout winner, and he remains positive that Arsenal have a chance of bagging both the EPL and UCL titles.

"It’s the Premier League, it’s a tough league and anything can happen. It is only two points, the difference [with Liverpool], and then we have a very good goal difference," he said.
"We also have the Champions League. This is the most beautiful part of the season, and you try everything to win titles," Jesus added.

With nine games to go, the forward is confident that the Gunners will put in a solid fight as the title race gets tougher.

Before they face Bayern Munich, Arsenal are expected to win against Luton Town and Brighton to keep their hopes alive.

On the other hand, the Reds will be facing Sheffield United on Thursday before a big clash against Manchester United on Sunday.

Arsenal backed to win the EPL

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Manchester United legend, Dimitar Berbatov backing Arsenal to win the Premier League title.

The Gunners are among three English teams angling to win the domestic crown, currently sitting second in the standings.
