Thomas Tuchel appears to have turned his attention to a different competition after seemingly conceding defeat in the Bundesliga title race.
Bayern Munich lost 2-0 on March 30 in a result that left them 13 points behind the runaway Bayer Leverkusen, who came from behind to beat Hoffenheim.
Xabi Alonso’s side is now just three wins away from their maiden title, and as Sports Brief also reported, Tuchel admitted Bayern would not win the Bundesliga again this season.
Tuchel shifts focus to Champions League
Despite the Bavarians being on course to end the season trophyless for the first time in more than a decade, Tuchel - who will leave the club in the summer - is adamant his side can still go for Europe’s elite trophy.

Bayern have been in typical formidable form in the UEFA Champions League this season, ending the group stage top of their group with 16 points.
In the Round of 16, they made light work of Maurizio Sarri’s SS Lazio, beating the Italian club both home and away to secure a 4-0 aggregate win.
As it stands, Arsenal stands in Bayern Munich's way of the semi-final spots, but Tuchel believes they can overcome Mikel Arteta’s side.
"That is not the first time that it happens to us and it's not the first time we could bounce back with a crazy good performance," Tuchel said of the season, per The Mirror.
The German also admitted that their hopes rested in Europe's elite tier.
"That is basically the hope. It's a bit strange but that is actually it. If we are honest, we could not have to guarantee that if we perform today at the highest level, we do this again at Heidenheim."

FootballWill Harry Kane win his first trophy?
One subplot of Bayern’s failures in their domestic league is the fact that Harry Kane’s wait for a league title is set to continue despite his brilliance.
According to Transfermarkt, he has scored 31 goals in 26 games for Bayern, but his strikes have not been enough to keep the Bavarians in the Bundesliga title race.
The England forward’s only hope for silverware this season is in the Champions League, but Bayern face an extremely tough test to make it to the final.
If Kane and his wards manage to beat Arsenal, they will come up against either Manchester City or Real Madrid in the semis - two formidable opponents.
