Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has disclosed his desire to represent Egypt at the Olympic Games in Paris in the summer.
The Egypt U23 team qualified for the multi-sport competition after finishing as runners-up at the Africa U23 Cup of Nations last year.
According to the Olympic Games rule, per Foot The Ball, three overage players are allowed to be included in the squad for men's football.
President of the Egyptian Football Association, Gamal Allam, disclosed that Salah has revealed his intentions of being part of the team.

“Mohamed Salah wants to participate with the Olympic team in the Paris 2024 Olympics, and he will be present,” he said, as quoted by 13 Football.
