Could Kylian Mbappe change his mind and stay at Paris Saint-Germain?

The club’s manager, Luis Enrique, is hopeful that that is the case.

The Frenchman announced that he would be leaving the Ligue 1 champions at the end of the season, and while his new destination has not been revealed, many believe he is Real Madrid-bound.

AS recently reported that the Spanish side are working on his presentation as a new player, with August earmarked as a potential date.

Enrique hopeful Mbappe will change his mind

While the La Liga giants are seemingly preparing to welcome their new superstar, PSG’s coach is still holding onto the hope that Mbappe changes his mind.

The Spaniard spoke about the possibility, saying that there was a possibility the French captain would make a U-turn on his original decision,

He added that there is a possibility he may change his mind if PSG win all the remaining titles this year, Madrid Universal reported.

“I keep hope about Mbappe staying at PSG. Mbappe has not said anything to us yet. He may change his mind,” Enrique said.
“Let us imagine that we won all the titles this season and that Kylian decided at the last minute that he would continue in Paris,” he added.

What trophies could PSG still win?

Enrique hopes that trophies will tempt the French star to stay, and with the club in the running for a quadruple this year, that could be the case.

Having already won the Trophee des Champions, the Ligue 1 title holders are on course to defend their league title and are also in the running for two other trophies.

The side are in the semi-final of the Coupe de France, and the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

Mbappe not discussing future with PSG

Sports Brief previously reported that Mbappe and PSG were no longer talking about his future.

Mbappe told the club he would be leaving at the end of the side, and they accepted his decision.

The Parisians wanted the former World Cup winner to stay, but know they can’t just change his mind.
