Mesut Ozil has left fans in awe with his incredible body transformation since his retirement.

The former Arsenal midfielder called time on his impressive football career in March 2023, aged 34.

Ozil's decision to retire came after a largely successful journey as a player that had seen him win multiple individual honours and titles, including the World Cup with Germany in 2014.

Since his retirement, the Real Madrid legend has seemingly been putting in the work in the gym, which has seen him undergo an insane body transformation.

According to Goal, the ex-Germany international has been keeping his fans updated on his journey post-football by sharing photos of his gym sessions on Instagram.

Fans in awe of Ozil's body transformation

Ozil's phenomenal body transformation and bulging biceps have not gone unnoticed among his millions of followers.

One of his recent posts from a gym session racked up more than one million likes, with thousands of his fans leaving comments, including footballers past and present.

"Always stay ready, then you don't need to get ready," he captioned the photo.

Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, commented:

"Looking strong bro."

Anoter Los Blancos player, Antonio Rudiger, called Ozil a 'beast'.

He spent time playing in Germany, Spain, England, and Turkey for top clubs in major leagues, including Real Madrid and Arsenal.
