Liverpool will head into their showdown with Brighton in excellent form.
The Reds are unbeaten in their last five league matches, recording four wins and a draw during that span. They were held by Manchester City to a 1-1 draw in their last league outing on March 10.
Brighton, on the other hand, have won three of their last six league matches. They are coming off a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Andrew Omobamidele scored an own goal in the 29th minute of that contest to hand the Seagulls all three points.
One key factor to consider in Sunday's contest is Liverpool's incredible form at Anfield. They have not tasted defeat in their last 26 league matches at Anfield, recording 20 victories and six draws during that stretch.
Recent Head-to-Head Matchups
Brighton are unbeaten in their last four meetings with Liverpool, recording two wins and two draws during that period. They canceled each other out in their first league matchup this season, with the game ending in a 2-2 draw.
Mohamed Salah scored a double for the Reds in that stalemate.
Liverpool's last win over Brighton came on March 12, 2022, in the Premier League. The Reds recorded a 2-0 victory in that contest, with Luis Diaz and Salah providing the goals.

FootballTeam News and Injury Update
Liverpool didn't come through unscathed during the international break, with Andy Robertson suffering an ankle injury in Scotland's game against Northern Ireland.
There is some good news for the Reds, though, as scan results showed the Scot avoided serious injury to his ankle ligaments, per The Athletic.
He is expected to be sidelined for just days and not weeks, with his status for Sunday's clash against Brighton and Hove Albion remaining uncertain.
Robertson has already missed 13 league matches this season after he dislocated his shoulder in Scotland's match against Spain back in October.
Among the key players who will miss the weekend game against the Seagulls are goalkeeper, Alisson, and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Brighton also have a number of key players out for Sunday's game. Kaoru Mitoma remains sidelined with a back injury, while Solly March is also out with a knee issue.
