  • Arsenal are among the favourites to win the Premier League title this term
  • The Gunners are topping the table with 64 points after 28 rounds of games
  • There are 10 games left to end the season ahead of their clash vs Man City

Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, has explained the only way Arsenal can win the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners have not tasted top flight glory for years, with their last triumph coming in 2004 under former boss, Arsene Wenger.

The North Londoners came close to winning the domestic crown last season but fell short in that attempt despite leading the table for 248 days, per Metro UK.

However, they are among the firm favourites to challenge for the trophy this term, with the Emirates Stadium dwellers currently topping the charts with 64 points.

Mikel Arteta's charges have enjoyed an impressive run so far, winning 20 of the 28 games they have played, and losing just four.

What Arsenal must do to win EPL

With only 10 games left to end the season, Neville has contended that Arsenal must beat Manchester City to stand any chance of winning the EPL this season.

The league leaders are scheduled to play the Citizens at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, March 31, in a tie expected to have a major bearing on the title race.

According to the former England international, Arsenal need to win the weekend fixture to stand any chance of conquering the English top flight.

"With the run-in, I think [Arsenal] have to win on Sunday. You always have to imagine that City are going to be perfect," Neville said on The Overlap.
"Unfortunately, we’re at the point in the season where they could win eight games on the bounce. I don’t think Arsenal will. The reason I say you have to win is because I am not sure who else is going to take points off City on the journey," he added.
