Zidane reacts to Jude Bellingham
Since the game was taking place at the Bernabeu, Zidane and co got to use their old dressing rooms, with the France international using Jude Bellingham’s locker.
In a video shared by @rmajude on X, Zidane looked elated as he changed into the match-day attire as he applauded Bellingham for the impact the England international has had for Real Madrid this season.
From five to five, we are not the same age but the same number,' Zidane said ahead of the game.
'He is spectacular, we are lucky to have him at Real Madrid, he is very good and I hope he brings us many trophies.'
Interestingly, Bellingham wears the iconic Number 5 at Real Madrid, the same shirt number Zidane wore at the club. This, coupled with the 20-year-old’s impact at the club, has inevitably led to comparisons between the two players of different generations.
