SuperSport United striker, Terrence Dzvukamanja, has explained the reasons behind his unexpected departure from Orlando Pirates.
His exit just before the 2023/24 DStv Premiership campaign took many fans by surprise in South Africa, given his stellar performances for the club in the preceding season.
The left-footed star played a crucial role for the Sea Robbers in clinching two domestic trophies, as well as securing a second-place finish in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) table.
Dzvukamanja was part of the team that won the 2023 MTN8 and was famous for sealing victory in the 2023 Nedbank Cup final with an injury-time winning goal against Sekhukhune United, as reported by SABC Sport.

In his final season at the club, the Zimbabwean international bagged 8 goals and gave two assists in 19 appearances across all competitions.
He recently elaborated on his decision to depart Pirates in an interview, citing the need for a fresh challenge.
"The injuries gave me problems at Pirates, so you can imagine how it feels to spend most of the time not playing as a striker because of the injuries. But it wasn’t that difficult because my agent and Pirates had meetings, and then I took the opportunity to challenge myself away from the club," he said, as quoted by FARPost.
Dzvukamanja has enjoyed a promising start to life at Matsatsantsa, scoring 4 goals and providing one assist in 26 appearances.
