Manchester United striker, Rasmus Hojlund, has attributed his recent goal-scoring spree to the guidance of the club's forward coach, Benni McCarthy.
Since his transfer from Atalanta last summer, the 21-year-old struggled to find his rhythm in the Premier League but has now hit his stride, notably opening his account on Boxing Day last year.
Despite a slow start to life in England, the Danish forward has hit a purple patch in front of goal.
With six goals in his last five league appearances, Hojlund's league tally stands at seven, complemented by 5 goals in the UEFA Champions League and one in the FA Cup, amounting to 13 across all competitions in 31 appearances.

Hojlund shed light on the collaborative efforts with McCarthy that have contributed to his resurgence. He stressed the significance of forward meetings convened by the coach, where tactical discussions and video analyses were conducted with the entire frontline unit.
"You could say that we have found each other better. We have had some forward meetings with Benni McCarthy to discuss things. It wasn't just me and two others, it was everyone from the front line who attended the meeting," said the striker in a recent interview with Danish outlet BT, as quoted by Man United.
On his training regimen, Hojlund pointed out his commitment to continuous improvement.
“I try to train well and prepare every single day, and I train on both my strengths and weaknesses. I have got better and better. I’ve had a good month, but it has resulted from good work over a long period," Hojlund explained, as reported by Far Post.
