The final on Friday took place at the Accra Sports Stadium, with football fans packing the venue to its full capacity.

The game, anticipated for its impressive display by both youth national teams, certainly lived up to expectations.

The match was intense, with Ghana and Uganda relentlessly battling for victory.

Despite the strong performances from both sides, neither managed to score until the added time of the second half when the deadlock was finally broken.

Black Satellites' forward, Afriyie, received a pass at the edge of the Uganda box and unleashed an unstoppable low drive that found the back of the net, securing the win for Ghana.

The victory gives the Black Satellites the gold medal in the men’s football tournament at the 13th African Games.

The same feat was achieved by the Black Princesses on Thursday night when they beat Nigeria 2-1 to win gold in the women’s football tournament.
