Most Goals in Europe's Top 5 Leagues

1. Harry Kane (31, Bundesliga)

There is just no stopping Harry Kane right now. The Englishman headed into the international break with another record to his collection, scoring his 31st goal for Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga this season in the game against Darmstadt.

The 30-year-old forward has now scored the most goals in a debut Bundesliga season, breaking the record once held by Uwe Seeler, per Goal.com.

It's almost certain that he will win the Golden Boot award in the German top flight, with Kane holding a nine-goal lead over second-placed Serhou Guirassy.

2. Kylian Mbappe (24, Ligue 1)

Kane wasn't the only one making history before the international break. Kylian Mbappe reached an incredible milestone for PSG, scoring his 250th goal for the club in their 6-2 win over Montpellier.

He was superb in that contest, scoring a hat-trick in his 200th match for PSG to push his goal tally in the Ligue 1 this season to 24.

It's almost certain that the 25-year-old will win the Golden Boot prize in the French top flight, with Mbappe holding a nine-goal lead over second-placed Jonathan David.

3. Lautaro Martinez (23, Serie A)

Inter are running away with the Italian Serie A title this season, thanks in large part to the brilliance of Lautaro Martinez in attack.

He leads the Serie A Golden Boot race with 23 goals scored from 26 matches. His goals per 90 are a league-best 0.98, while his goal conversion rate stands at an impressive 36% per the BBC.

The award is almost certainly his, as Martinez holds an eight-goal lead over the nearest contender Dusan Vlahovic.

4. Erling Haaland (18, Premier League)

Erling Haaland's quest to retain his Premier League Golden Boot title is still very much alive. He leads the scoring charts in the English top flight, netting 18 goals for Manchester City this season.

He has been in fine form since returning from a foot injury, with the Norwegian holding a two-goal lead over the nearest contender Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa.

5. Jude Bellingham (16, La Liga)

Jude Bellingham has lived up to the hype in his first season with Real Madrid.

He leads the La Liga Golden Boot race with 16 goals scored from 22 matches. His goals per 90 are a league-best 0.77, while his goal conversion rate stands at 40%.

Bellingham's lead at the top of the scoring charts is just one goal, with Osasuna's Ante Budimir and Borja Mayoral breathing down his neck.
