Burkina Faso football legend, Aristide Bance, was pictured upon a return to his place of humble beginning.
The former Chippa United star took to social media to share a 'bizarre' inspiring quote, to get his followers buzzing.
Bance began his career in Ivory Coast where he played for Stade d' Abidjan in 2000 before moving to Athletic Adjame the following year.
It was in 2006 when he got his breakthrough after signing a four-year deal with Ukrainian outfit Metalurh Donetsk.

Bance went on to feature for several clubs including Mainz 05, Ausburg, Asec Mimosas, and a host of others as per Transfermkt.
He is believed to have made a fortune from the game of football, but as he returned to his place of humble background, the former striker shared a 'bizarre' quote.
Bance was pictured seated on a wooden bench in front of a house in the ghetto, with his mural on the wall.
He wrote:

The Abidjan-born star had suggested that Burkina Faso would meet hosts Ivory Coast in the final of the competition.
