Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has all but confirmed his imminent exit from Old Trafford ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Denmark international joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2022 on a three-year deal.
According to Sky Sports, Eriksen moved to the Theatre of Dreams after he turned down a permanent stay at Brentford, where he was on loan at the time.
The former Tottenham Hotspur star formed an important part of Erik ten Hag's midfield last season alongside Casemiro.

The ex-Inter Milan star has now come out to admit that he is unhappy at Old Trafford, with the concession hinting at a possible exit.
Speaking to Tipsbladet, Eriksen further added that he has already expressed his displeasure with ten Hag about his lack of playing time.
"I have previously stated that I am not satisfied with not playing, but it's not something that keeps me up at night. The team is performing, and I must respect the role you have alongside. For my part, it has been about working hard and focusing on being fresh for every game, and I am. It is easier now to accept my role than it would have been before," he said.
