Football fans like nothing more than seeing legends reunited.

Sadio Mane has found a home in the Saudi Pro League and the continued growth of the league should see more big names join, even if it is in the twilight of their careers.

Jurgen Klopp is entering the final months of his Liverpool career, but at 56 years old, it is inevitable that he will take on another challenge after he rediscovers the necessary motivation.

Players come and go, but successful managers seem to hold a deeper place in the hearts and psyche of ardent football fans.

Just as fans will remember him fondly, former player Mane described Klopp as a 'great man', as well as a 'living legend'. Cheekily hinting at Klopp's next destination, his comments were relayed by Liverpool.com, who stated:

"Maybe he will come here? He is someone who left his mark on world football and personally, he contributed a lot to my development."

The Saudi Pro League has attracted the biggest names in football but has yet to do so with managers. The highest-profile bosses in the league could arguably be listed as Slaven Bilic, Steven Gerrard and Pitso Mosimane.

On the day Klopp broke Anfield hearts, he mentioned the off-field factors that drained his enthusiasm. As quoted by The Guardian, he said:

"I had six press conferences a week for nine years. I can’t wait for a moment when I don’t have to do that."

Klopp will undoubtedly return, and when he does, the Saudi Pro League could have risen to new levels or have faded into a desert mirage.

Why Liverpool deserved FA Cup defeat

Sports Brief recently compiled a list of three reasons why Liverpool deserved to lose to Manchester United.

In an FA Cup classic at Old Trafford, the Reds were sloppy in letting their fiercest rivals back into the game.

The 4-3 extra-time defeat has taken the shine off what promised to be an emotional farewell for Jurgen Klopp.
