Man United pip Liverpool for semi spot

Despite taking an early lead through Scott McTominay, the Red Devils found themselves trailing after quickfire goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah before half-time.

However, much-criticised winger, Antony, came off the bench to score his second goal of the competition, forcing the game into extra time.

Harvey Elliot then restored Liverpool's lead, only for Marcus Rashford and Amad Diallo to stage United's dramatic comeback, per Eurosport.

Chelsea survive Leicester scare to reach Wembley

In another quarter-final clash, Chelsea withstood a second-half resurgence from Leicester City, securing their semi-final berth with late goals from Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke.

Before the two stars found the back of the net, the Blues struggled despite initially leading 2-0 in the first half of what was expected to be an easy match.

However, a lacklustre second-half performance allowed the Foxes to equalise through an own goal from Axel Disasi and a goal from Stephen Mavididi.

Nevertheless, Pochettino's well-timed substitutions ensured Chelsea secured the crucial victory at Stamford Bridge.
