Masandawana coach Rulani Mokwena has admitted he is concerned about the form of his striker.

Things are not happening for him this season. He returned from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations without scoring a goal in four games for his country.
He has scored 10 goals in all competitions, including four in the DStv Premiership, per Transfermarkt.
Shalulile's teammates, Lucas Ribeiro has scored 10, while Gaston Sirino has bagged five. Sundowns are comfortably on top of the PSL but will need Shalulile to start firing soon.
Mokwena on Shalulile's form
Mokwena recently said he is worried about Shalulile's poor form:
“I would lie to you if I said it doesn’t worry me, I’m trying for him not to see it worries me, I speak to him quite a lot," via iDiski Times.
He is confident that his striker will start scoring soon, while comparing him to the top strikers in the world.
“I know the goals will come for sure, every single striker, you go from Benzema, Ronaldo, Haaland… look at the Manchester Derby, he missed an easy [chance] he tried to place it where he could have headered it – but he scored after that, a more difficult one."

Why Shalulile didn't start in Tshwane Derby
Sports Brief earlier reported on Mokwena outlining why Shalulile didn't start in the Tshwane Derby against SuperSport United.
The young tactician said they are trying to manage the veteran striker, who has started 11 of the 14 league games he's played this season.
