Ghanaian international, Mohammed Kudus, is back in form as he scored a Lionel Messi-esque goal in West Ham's 5-0 win over SC Freiburg in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 tie.

The Hammers lost the first leg in Germany, with the Bundesliga side claiming a 1-0 win at the Europa Park Stadion.

The English Premier League side started the second-leg clash on a good note, with Lucas Paqueta scoring in the ninth minute to put the tie on level terms on aggregate.

England international, Jarrod Bowen, put West Ham ahead on aggregate after scoring his team's second goal.

Bowen turned provider as Aaron Cresswell scored the Hammers' third goal to put the contest beyond the German side.

In a video shared on social media, Kudus took a leaf from Messi's book as he scored a beautiful solo goal in the 77th minute.

The former Ajax star took the ball from his half and drove past Freiburg players to curl a shot home.

Eight minutes later, the Ghanaian scored his second of the night after hitting a rocket shot past Freiburg keeper Noah Atubolu to seal a 5-0 win for the Hammers, according to a report by BBC.

The Premier League side are now through to the quarter-finals of the Europa League and await the draw on Friday to know their next opponent in the competition.
