Makinwa details plans with Super Eagles
In an interview with Punch Sports Extra, the former Gil Vicente star elaborated on his strategy for achieving success with the Super Eagles.
Makinwa expressed his intention to create a robust team by blending players from the domestic league with those based overseas. He explained:
"I will gradually integrate the raw talents from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) into the core of the team. I will also select local players in two groups of 20 each, one in the north and the other in the south, for fortnightly training sessions.
"By training year-round, we can establish a distinct style of play. The foreign-based players who join us will be of the highest calibre."
