Does Arsenal’s Leandro Trossard have a twin brother?

Football fans certainly seem to think so and have joked that it’s French referee, Clement Turpin.

The referee was in charge of Arsenal’s UEFA Champions League game against Porto, and while some were focused on the game, others couldn’t help but notice the resemblance between Trossard and Turpin.

Who is Clement Turpin?

Gunners star, Trossard, is a Belgian international, but his supposed twin, Turpin, hails from France.

The 41-year-old is one of the most experienced referees in Europe and was in charge for the 2022 Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid, UEFA reported.

An uncanny resemblance between the two

While fans took to social media to joke about the two being brothers, there was no denying the resemblance.

Fans were quick to point out the resemblance, saying that the reason the Belgian scored in the game was because his older brother was officiating.
