Afrobeats superstar, Rema, will need some serious lessons on how to take a penalty.

The Nigerian musician left fans in stitches with an awful penalty on a small pitch in Nigeria.

The Calm Down singer, clad in dark baggy trousers and a red hoodie, stepped up to take the penalty on a mini-goal.

To make things easy for Rema, the goalkeeper left his position. A few people stood around the box to watch his attempt while wearing the famous white Nike Air Force shoes, per Yaba Left Online.

Unfortunately, his weak effort was way off the goal. He even laughed at his effort. Still, the musician could be forgiven, since he didn't have the right gear for taking a penalty.

Nevertheless, fans did not care about his status. They made sure he knew how awful his penalty was.

"A very uncertain future. Music saved him."

"Rema should just concentrate on music more than football."

@tech_xi:

"All that concentration only to miss?😂😂😂 Rema stick to your music please."

"Victor Osimhen is about to be dethroned."
