Premier Soccer League club Mamelodi Sundowns and tactician Pitso Mosimane were once an iconic pairing synonymous with one another.
The relationship seems to have deteriorated as both parties now seek to break new grounds, respectively.
It was evident that Mosimane was not impressed with his former team when his Al-Ahly side faced the Brazilians in the CAF Champions League.
The South African tactician alleged that Sundowns were playing 'dirty tricks', adding that some things were personal to him.

He told Sunday World:
“There is always drama when I come here. There’s too many things that are personal to me.
“It is unbelievable, I don’t want to talk about it now. I will talk about it in my book or in my documentary and you will be shocked.
“They are still after me these people, they will not leave me alone – I have moved on.
"I have left them with a very good team, they have three coaches. What do they want?"
It was, however, gathered that Sundowns are doing everything to settle issues with the manager who left the club in 2020.
Sundowns are interested in compensating the coach who guided the team to 5 PSL titles, 2 Nedbank Cups, 2 Telkom Knockout Cups, 1 CAF Champions League, and 1 CAF Super Cup title.
