Manchester United target Jean-Claire Todibo had an evening to forget on Friday as he was involved in a viral spat with his own fans.
The 24-year-old was in the starting XI for Nice, who were looking to break out of a poor run of form.
But in the 10th minute, the defender scored an own goal as Nice, owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe went 1-0 behind against Montpellier.

Todibo in altercation with fans
In what was a frustrating game for Nice, they succumbed to defeat and tempers boiled over at full time.
Todibo was seen heading towards some home fans, who made their feelings towards him known after the full time whistle.
The French defender did not back down, as he walked towards the fans and hurled insults back. His teammates had to hold him back and they eventually hauled him down the tunnel.
Incensed Nice fans attempted to make their way onto the pitch, but they were ultimately quelled by security, per The Athletic.
According to reports, Nice fans shouted at Todibo, urging him to “leave” their club since the Frenchman has been linked with a summer exit.

Manchester United appear to be favourites to sign him, although Chelsea are also monitoring the 24-year-old, according to Sky Sports.
