The Mbappe transfer saga has dominated headlines for years, but it will likely reach fever pitch in the summer when clubs compete for his signature.

The Athletic reported that the details of his terms have not been disclosed, but the 25-year-old has communicated his decision to the club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

Eto'o wants Mbappe to stay at PSG, but he respects his decision to leave the club.

"He's the best player in the world. I am a Parisian supporter. It is obvious that I would have liked to continue seeing Kylian in Paris. But I respect and don't need to understand his decision," per France 24.
"It's his career. He makes decisions according to his vision."

Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have been linked with the World Cup Winner.

Mbappe opens up relationship with PSG coach

In a previous update, Sports Brief highlighted a statement asserting Mbappe had 'no issue' with PSG coach, Luis Enrique.

This came after the French forward netted two goals in his team's triumph over Real Sociedad in the UCL last 16 on Tuesday.

Mbappe's recent appearances for the Ligue 1 giants saw him either begin as a substitute or be substituted off during matches.

Mbappe's mum goes house hunting in Madrid

Meanwhile, reports of Kylian Mbappe's anticipated transfer to Real Madrid are intensifying with each passing day. It's been revealed that the striker is set to make the long-awaited move to Spain at the conclusion of this season.

Adding fuel to the speculation, news has emerged that Mbappe's mother, Fayza Lamari, has travelled to Spain, purportedly to search for a new house where her son will reside once the deal is completed, as reported by Sports Brief.

Lamari, who also serves as Mbappe's agent, is expected to play a crucial role in the negotiations regarding her son's future.
