Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali bagged a clean sheet for Chippa United on his second appearance for the club following his return from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 27-year-old goalie had a solid outing as the Chilli Boys defeated Richards Bay 3-0 in the DStv Premier League on Wednesday as they ended their five-game winless run.
According to the Daily Post, Nwabali’s clean sheet against Richards Bay brings his total to eight in 17 PSL appearances for Chippa United this season.
The Super Eagles goalkeeper is presently two clean sheets behind Mamelodi Sundowns and South Africa’s first-choice goalie Ronwen Williams, who leads the league with 10 clean sheets in just 13 games.
