Liverpool received a major injury boost on Wednesday, March 6, as Mohamed Salah was spotted training with the first team.
The Egyptian has only made two appearances for the Reds in 2024 due to hamstring issues.
Salah had left the Egypt camp early after being injured during the opening rounds of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
His last appearance for the Premier League side was on February 17 when he came off the bench to score as Liverpool beat Brentford 4-1.

Weeks later, the 31-year-old could make his return to Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI, as Sky Sports reports he made the trip to Prague with the rest of the team for a Europa League assignment.
In a video shared by the publication, Salah can be seen being put through the paces alongside Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Nunez, who also recently returned from injury, per the Standard.
Liverpool fans will also be relieved to learn that Caoimhin Kelleher was also spotted with the team in their latest training session, amid fears that he suffered an injury setback.
But perhaps the most welcome news was that of Salah’s return, especially because the Reds are chasing an unlikely quadruple this season.
Liverpool’s fight for silverware
On Thursday, the Reds will be in Europa League action against Sparta Praha as they hope to get a good result in the first leg of the Round of 16.
This will be followed by a crunch Premier League clash against Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday, in what many fans have touted as a title decider.
In his final season in charge of Liverpool, Klopp is chasing a quadruple of silverware, having already secured the Carabao Cup at the expense of Chelsea.
