Victor Osimhen has scored in his third game in a row for Napoli after returning from international duty with Nigeria.
The striker bagged a hat-trick against Sassuolo in a Serie A clash to help the champions get a comfortable lead.
Sassuolo had taken the lead through Uros Racic in the 17th minute before Amir Rrahmani equalised in the 29th minute.
His first goal came from a brilliant link-up play. Giovanni Di Lorenzo found himself in acres of space on the right-hand side before passing it to Matteo Politano.

The forward cut the ball back to Osimhen, who finished comfortably to give Napoli a 2-1 lead, per AP.
His second of the night was thanks to a misplaced pass from the hosts. Politano set up the Nigerian who finished past Andrea Consigli.

The Nigeria striker has now scored at least 10 Serie A goals in four straight seasons. Since joining Napoli in 2020 from Lille, Osimhen has scored 10, 14, 26, and 11 goals in the last four Serie A seasons, respectively.
Osimhen joins Diego Maradona (1984-85 to 1987-88) and Attila Sallustro (1929-30 to 1932-33) on that list, as Sports Brief reported earlier.
The Super Eagles star has now scored 69 goals for the Italian giants in 121 matches. 61 of those goals have come in the Serie A.
