Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has reached an agreement with Sivasspor to terminate his contract with the Turkish club.
The 31-year-old forward has refused to resume with the Super Lig outfit following the conclusion of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, where he led Nigeria to win the silver medal.
According to Own Goal Nigeria, Musa requested his contract with Sivasspor three weeks ago due to the financial situation of the Turkish club, which has a poor record of owing players' salaries.
The Super Eagles captain has found game time difficult for Sivasspor this season, making only just two league appearances for the Turkish club in the league and two in the cup competitions.
