The FA Cup is the only trophy ten Hag's charges are hoping to win, having been bundled out of the Champions League in the group stages as well as the Carabao Cup, which was recently won by Liverpool.
United have also endured their fair share of struggles in the Premier League, as they currently face an uphill task in their hope of sealing a Champions League spot.
Ten Hag confident of keeping United job
Despite coming under heavy scrutiny, ten Hag has suggested he will keep the job beyond the ongoing season.
Speaking ahead of his side's FA Cup fifth-round clash against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, the former Ajax boss noted that United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe believes in him.
“I'm under contract here at Man United for three seasons. So I don't care about rumours," ten Hag said, per Sportskeeda.
"I'm in this process and only focusing on the process. I have a strong belief and I feel after multiple talks that INEOS believe me," he added.
