  • Sadio Mane was left frustrated during the game between Al-Nassr and Al-Shabab
  • The Al-Nassr star featured as the Saudi giants defeated Al-Shabab on Sunday
  • Cristiano Ronaldo was on target as the title chasers collected all three points

Sadio Mane was unhappy at half-time during the game between Al-Nassr and Al-Shabab in the Saudi Pro League.

The Senegalese forward endured a difficult game and had to be replaced late in the second half as the Knight of Najd secured a hard-fought 3-2 win on the road.

Cristiano Ronaldo continued his scoring run after converting from the spot in the first half before Anderson Talisca added a second-half brace.

Yannick Carrasco and Carlos Junior scored the consolation goals for Al-Shabab with former Sevilla star Ivan Rakitic making his home debut.

In a video shared on social media, Mane was spotted remonstrating as he complained to Ronaldo at half time with the game levelled at 1-1.

It is unclear what the ex-Liverpool star was furious about, but Mane seemed to not agree with some of the decisions from the first half.

Meanwhile, Al-Nassr have been on a good run of form, having won their last five matches and are also through to the quarter-final of the AFC Champions League.

Despite the victory on Sunday, Al-Nassr are four points behind leaders Al-Hilal, who have played a game less, per Sofascore.

Ronaldo impressed with Mane's kick

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Cristiano Ronaldo admired Mane's left foot strike during training at the Al Awwal Park.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner and his Senegalese teammate were preparing for their AFC Champions League Round of 16 second-leg clash against Al-Feiha. A game they won 2-0, progressing to the quarter-final 3-0 on aggregate.

Ronaldo scored in both legs as the Saudi giants continued their pursuit of the Champions League title.

Mane and Ronaldo celebrate Founder's Day

Sports Brief also reported that Sadio Mane and Ronaldo took part in the Saudi Founder's Day celebration as part of activities to celebrate the country's culture.

The Al Nassr stars and their teammates were spotted in beautifully woven Saudi Arabian dresses as they took part in the annual event.

In a video shared on social media, the players were dressed like royalty as they observed the day with beaming smiles on their faces.
