The 19-year-old was part of the 'Match for Hope' charity game which was taking place at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium. Legendary footballers and influencers typically come together for a good cause and on this occasion, iShowSpeed found himself in the same team as former Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

There were hints that the Youtuber would be up to his usual tricks before the match, as he was heard telling arguing with the Premier League winner on who would play on the left wing, SportBible.

Once the game got underway, it was pure entertainment, particularly from iShowSpeed, who looked out of sorts in a football match that had several big names gracing it.

IShowSpeed squanders big chance

Eden Hazard rolled back the days with some nice dribbling at some point in the game, and made a surging run forward, beating several defenders for pace.

The Belgian then squared the ball to iShowSpeed, who only needed to steady himself to tap the ball in, but the Youtuber somehow fluffed his lines, and completely missed the ball.

How the game went

The Match for Hope game on Friday was set up as a contest between Team Aboflah 4-4 Team Chunkz.

Team Chunkz, managed by former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, emerged 7-5 winners in a game that saw goal from all the big names of the past including Kaka, Didier Drogba, David Villa and Hazard.

He managed to run onto the second ball before it went out of play, but the chance was already gone as his next pass was met by a hopeless shot over the bar from another teammate.

IshowSpeed tackles Kaka illegally

Sports Brief also reported on a curious incident that saw ishowSpeed make a crunch tackle on 2007 Ballon d’Or winner Ricardo Kaka.

Kaka received a ball and was contemplating a pass, when the Youtuber came from behind with a dangerous-looking sliding tackle, earning himself a yellow card in the process.

Luckily, Kaka was unscathed and ended up scoring a delightful solo goal in the charity game.
