Mamelodi Sundowns manager, Rhulani Mokwena, has applauded Bongani Zungu for his performance during the Nedbank Cup clash against NB La Masia, saying he does a lot on the pitch.
The tactician has disclosed that the 31-year-old has embraced the responsibility of not just being a player on the pitch.
Mokwena suggested that one player is already embracing the coaching role as he singled out Zungu.
During their clash against Orlando Pirates, the head coach handed Matias Esquivel a piece of paper and instructed him to pass it on to Mosa Lebusa.

After reading it, Lebusa informed his teammates of the instructions in a spectacular fashion, emphasising the role of the experienced players.
One of the senior and seasoned players at the club is Bongani Zungu, and the team's boss understands the leadership role he has been playing on the pitch. Mokwena said, as per Farpost:
"Bongani, he’s got seniority, he’s got experience, he’s matured, his time in Europe has really helped him to become a top football player, and technically, he is at a very good level.
"He organises the team and [does] a lot of coaching on the pitch, and these are some of the things you don’t really see. He is selfless; he’s a good human being. Bongz looks after the younger ones and the team.
"Bongz gives leadership and coaches the players on the side sometimes even after training, and I saw his leadership during some of the set pieces where he was organizing the team."
