Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez arrived for their first Inter Miami game of the 2024 Major League Soccer season and already showed why they are good friends.
Messi, who moved to Miami in July last year, will begin his first full MLS season, having arrived in the middle of last year and was unable to help the club reach the playoffs.
Suarez joined his former Barcelona teammates, Messi, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, after leaving Brazilian club Gremio despite having a year left on his contract.
Per AlbicelesteTalk, it was the pair’s first game together in 921 days since the former Liverpool forward left Barcelona to join rivals Atletico Madrid in 2020.
