The Super Eagles of Nigeria resume their quest to secure their highly coveted spot of being the best football team on the African continent with an international friendly with the Albiceleste, of Argentina.

These additions are reportedly planned for the upcoming March international window, which is the only opportunity for test fixtures.
The report also indicates that the Portuguese coach is likely to remain in charge of the Nigerian team, despite a ₤208,000 monthly contract offered to him by the Algerian Football Federation, as they search for a successor to Djamel Belhmadi.
Additionally, the Super Eagles are set to play against the Argentine national team in the United States, instead of the originally planned venue of Hong Kong.
