Former Chelsea and Real Madrid forward, Eden Hazard, has disclosed John Mikel Obi's best game during his illustrious career.

The former Nigerian international played alongside Hazard at Chelsea for five seasons and had a good relationship throughout their time together.

The former Belgium national team captain was a popular player during his time with the Blues and notched 85 goals and 61 assists in 245 appearances for the Premier League side before joining Real Madrid in 2019.

In a recent interview on ObiOne Podcast, as per Soccernet, Hazard claimed that Chelsea was not one of his options when he wanted to leave Lille in 2012.

The only thing that changed his mind to join the Blues was when they won the UEFA Champions League against Bayern Munich in the 2011-2012 season.

Remembering the final at the Allianz Arena, Hazard took a slight dig at the Mikel, saying it was the Super Eagles legend's best game in his career.

"When I wanted to change clubs, Chelsea was not one of my options until the day they won the Champions League," he said.
"I watched the game from my hotel room; the Champions League final is the only game you (Mikel Obi) played well in your career."

Chelsea won the competition that season and won the race to sign the former Belgian international.

Hazard disagrees with Ronaldo’s Ligue 1 ranking

Sports Brief earlier reported that Hazard has disagreed with Cristiano Ronaldo’s comments that the Saudi Pro League is better than the French Ligue 1.

The former Real Madrid star, since joining Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, has been comparing the Middle Eastern league to others in Europe.

Hazard claims the Saudi Pro League have big players now, but they do not have big teams, unlike the French league, where they do not have many big players, but they have bigger teams.
