Mohamed Salah is the latest Premier League player to score and assist in over 30 English Premier League matches after netting in Liverpool’s victory against Brentford on Saturday, February 17.
The 31-year-old forward, back from a hamstring issue he picked up on duty with Egypt at AFCON 2023, got on the scoresheet with a crisp finish as the Reds triumphed 4-1 against the Bees.
The Egyptian forward had previously set up his team's second goal after beautifully assisting Alexis Mac Allister’s goal as Liverpool maintained the top spot in the Premier League table.
According to the BBC, Salah has now scored and assisted in 30 different league games. Only Wayne Rooney (36), Thierry Henry (32), and Alan Shearer (31) have done so more times.

The Egyptian forward, who has scored 15 Premier League goals this season, is the first African to achieve this feat as he pushes for another Golden Boot, with just Erling Haaland ahead of him in the ranking of top goal-scorers this season.

Meanwhile, Alan Shearer has praised Salah after the 31-year-old forward shone on his return for Liverpool in the 4-1 thrashing of Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday, TBR Football reports.
The 53-year-old commented on X (previously known as Twitter), describing the Egyptian as 'incredible' after he joined the elite list of players to score and assist in over 30 Premier League matches.
Salah was making his first appearance for Liverpool since the Reds' 4-2 win over Newcastle United at Anfield on New Year’s Day, having been sidelined after an injury he sustained at the AFCON.
